Illusionism, take two!

The finished (for now) version of the below post! (curse you blogger and your fading of colors)

(of course looking at it I see a few things that need a little tweaking but, hey, I have other things to do too!)

I am using a nice excerpt from my friend Isabel Low's lovely short story for this illustration
This is... really not remotely close to finished but I figured I'd share this for fun (Works in Progress are so fun)

When I have more time I will probably try and do more to the background but this is where it stands for now

Sketchbook

Illustration assignment for over the snowday was to do a spread in our sketchbook and use the materials bought for class

I do black and white film photography (dark room) as well, although not nearly as often as illustration
